Patsy Wins Medal
New Lady Member Patsy Wood took the spoils in division one, in the first EWGA Medal of the summer season, with a score of 73 nett. Margaret Clarke and Gill Hunt finished 3 shots behind Patsy on 76 nett. Our Lady Captain, Jane Byatte fired the lowest gross with an 87.
Gill Dawson carded a 72 nett to win division two and also shot a best gross 93 for good measure. Closely behind were Anne McCormick's 74 net and Sue Heathershaw's 77 net.
Competition Rescheduled
This week's competition did not go ahead due to the inclement weather but let's hope they all had a great time at the club for Eleanor's Hen Do!
This week's competition, EWGA Medal, has been re-arranged for next Thursday, 5 May when Jane has her Lady Captain's Drive-in. Don't forget to pick up a lolly pop stick when you check in for the guess the Lady Captain's drive.
Low Scores From The Gents
Last Saturday was the Gent's April Stableford when 6 handicapper Peter Hodge scored a fantastic 42 points! Let's hope there's more where that came from for Peter, heading in to the first qualifying competition of the year, next Saturday's, 7 April Medal.
Chris Parker finished 2 points behind on 40 points. Aiden O'Sullivan just pipped Steve Brigham for 3rd place on countback with 39 points.
 Manchester Alliance
Wednesday saw the final event of the Manchester Alliance Schedule, Presidents Day, which took place at Withington Golf Club.
Assistant Professional Ian Ridgway won the event with a score of 3 under par 68. Here he is, pictured with the President of the Manchester Alliance John Dowd.
